Getting started
This is the whole setup, in order. None of it needs a developer.
1. Your account
Your account is a single private link that looks like
/s/your-settings-token. There's no password — that link is
how you get in. Save it somewhere safe, like a bookmark or a note.
2. Set your prices
On your settings page, fill in:
- How you price — choose $ per square or $ per sq ft. This only changes how the price boxes are labeled; the homeowner's quote is the same either way.
- Your rates for each material you install.
- Minimum job price — leave blank if you don't want a floor.
- Range width — how wide the ± range around your price should be.
- Financing partners — optional, comma-separated, up to 4. Leave blank to hide the financing line.
- Booking URL — optional. When set, homeowners see a "Book a time" button next to the contact form.
Click Save when you're done. Changes go live the moment you save.
3. Test on a real address
The settings page has a live preview: a sample roof, with your numbers. Use it to sanity-check your prices before anyone else sees them. You can also open your unpublished page and try the full flow yourself, address and all — a draft banner reminds you nothing you do there sends a lead or counts as a visit.
4. Publish
Under Your calculator page, check the box that reads "These are my prices, and I'm happy for homeowners to see them next to my business name," then click Publish my calculator. Until you do this, nobody can see your prices or your business name — anyone who opens the link early gets a neutral page with none of your details on it.
You can rename your calculator's link under Your link name — just know that changing it breaks your old link everywhere you've shared it. You can also click Unpublish at any time to take your page down again.
5. Put it on your site
Under Put it on your website, copy one of the snippets ("Inline on a page" or "Floating button") and paste it into your site. See Putting it on your website for the full list of placements and page-builder notes.
