Leads

When a lead is created

A homeowner enters their name and email (phone is optional) right before their price range shows — submitting that step is what creates your first lead, and it's also what emails them their estimate. If they go on to click "Schedule my free inspection," that creates a second lead with the same contact info. Just typing an address and looking at the questions creates nothing — a lead only exists once one of those two steps is actually submitted.

What a lead contains

Name and email are required. Phone is optional at first and asked for again when they request an inspection. Everything else depends on what the homeowner fills in:

Where it goes

A lead is emailed straight to your lead email address — the one on your account. You don't need to check a separate dashboard to see it; it lands in your inbox.

Before a homeowner can submit the form, they have to check a box that reads:

"I agree that [Your Business Name] may contact me by phone, text, or email about my estimate. Message rates may apply; opt out anytime."

This checkbox is required — the form can't be submitted without it.

Text alerts

In your settings, you can add your mobile number and turn on text alerts for new leads — opt-in only, off by default. Once it's on, you'll get a text the moment a new lead comes in. Reply STOP at any time to stop the texts.

If you've set a booking URL in your settings, homeowners see a "Book a time" button right next to the contact form. It opens your booking page in a new tab. This is a second path alongside the contact form, not a replacement for it — a homeowner can still submit the form even if they also book a time.
