What this covers

This page explains what RuufPro collects when you use the quote tool at calc.ruufpro.com or on a roofer's website, and what we do with it. RuufPro is made by Feedback Footprint LLC, based in Bradenton, Florida. If you have questions, email waldo12397@gmail.com.

What we collect

If you're a homeowner getting a price

You type in your address. We look up your roof size using satellite data. Before we show you a price, you give us your name and email, and you can choose to give us your phone number too. You also check a box saying it's okay for the roofer to contact you.

If you're a roofer signing up

You give us your email, your business name, and your prices, so we can build your quote tool. You can add a phone number if you want text alerts for new leads, and you check a box agreeing to get those texts. If you sign in with Google, we store the name and email Google gives us. We use one cookie to keep you signed in — we don't use advertising cookies.

How we use it

We use a homeowner's information to send their price and their contact details to the roofer, so the roofer can follow up. We use a roofer's information to run their quote tool, send them their leads, and email them a confirmation when they sign up.

Text messages

If a roofer turns on lead texts, we send them a text message when a new lead comes in, using Twilio, the texting service we use to send messages. A roofer can reply STOP to any of these texts to stop getting them, or HELP for help.

Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for any purpose, including marketing. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

Cookies and analytics

Roofer accounts use one cookie to keep you signed in. We don't run advertising cookies. We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count site visits — it doesn't use cookies and doesn't collect anything that identifies you personally.

Who else sees it

We don't sell homeowner or roofer information, and we don't share it except with the services that help us run RuufPro: Google (maps and sign-in), Cloudflare (hosting and analytics), Resend (sending emails), Twilio (sending texts), and OpenAI (helping write website copy inside a roofer's dashboard). Each of those companies only sees what it needs to do its job.

Satellite and map data

We measure roofs using Google's maps and satellite data, plus building outline data from Microsoft's US Building Footprints (licensed under ODbL). Because we use Google's maps data, Google's own privacy policy also applies to that part of the tool: see Google's Privacy Policy and the Google Maps Platform Terms of Service.

How long we keep it

Roof measurements are kept for up to 30 days so the same address doesn't need to be measured twice, then cleared. Leads (a homeowner's name, email, phone, address, the price shown, and their consent) are kept so a roofer can always find them. A roofer's account information is kept for as long as their account exists.

Your choices

To have your information deleted, email us from the email address on your account: waldo12397@gmail.com. You can reply STOP to any text message to stop getting texts. A roofer can unsubscribe from emails at any time.

Children

RuufPro is not for anyone under 18 years old. We don't knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this page as RuufPro changes. We'll change the "Last updated" date above when we do.
